Canon 600D Announced

Canon has just announced the forthcoming release of the Canon 600D EOS SLR digital camera. As the natural successor to the incredibly popular Canon 550D the 600D will continue to enhance the popular range of cameras and is intended to replace the ageing EOS 500D.



The Canon EOS 600D digital camera goes onsale from late March and will retail at approximately £650 in the UK. With a range of advanced features and newly styled bodywork the 600D will be the perfect entry level camera for the photography enthusiast. The new camera is the first Canon SLR in this bracket to boast a fully adjustable fold out LCD screen which is perfect for viewing your shot in Live View mode or adjusting your settings.

Each iteration of the Canon EOS line improves on the previous models and the SLR 600D basic shooting mode is now called Scene Intelligent Mode which can help to improve the photographs of the amateur photographer even further.
